Guess we won't be having a new proper Rayman game then. Alas, whinging won't solve this problem.
Posted by robocoddess, 2008-04-29 14:52:58
Well, UbiSoft, you've finally done it.

You have ruined your company into marketing hogs instead of thinking about the people who stuck with you ever since the beginning.

Screwed up. But as Robocoddess said, whining won't do anything, I don't care. I'm just saying that you are marketing jerks.
Posted by Kelvin10, 2008-04-29 23:31:11
wow, so theyve made a 3rd chapter in the rabbids series, so what? if you dont like the rabbids, then dont play the games and dont go to the rabbids site just to peddle your pesimistic ideals. it doesnt make them marketing hogs, it makes them people who appeal to the millions who have bought their game. ubisoft has more than 1 studio working on the rayman franchise so dont be disheartened to see another minigame collection.

Yea sellouts! Seriously, what kind of business has a "marketing department" anyhow. I mean, c'mon, theres nothing to kill, and it's no fun unless you play with friends. And now I AHVE to stand up to!?!?! I tell you, with franchise like this selling by the tug-boat loads Ubi-Soft will be closeing its doors by Cristmas.

So can I preorder this now or what?

I dont even get this video. Theres a new rabbids game? I thought the Rabbids were just invading Wii Fitness. You know, for a laugh or two. It never said anything about a new game. And whats wrong with Rabbids doing commercials??? It was funny as heck on its own, and its better that those cheesy car commercials. I dont get the big deal about this one bit.
Posted by Fenn70, 2008-04-30 19:38:31
IGN hinted at it being RRR3
P.S. Not to complain but yes, more rayman possible? ^3^?
Posted by Novastarrayman, 2008-04-30 23:17:01
Amazing how many wining wimps there are. Playing these kind of games on Wii with your friends it the best entertainment since...well, ever. If you ain't got anything constructive to say, why speak at all?

What if they were actually making a Rayman game and no more Rabbids, would you guys whimper like you say we're doing?

BTW, if any webmasters are reading this, is the white text on this site supposed to be flowing out of the orange body? And while you're at it, fix teh Raymanzone site as well.
Posted by robocoddess, 2008-05-04 17:29:35
Yes, it might be strange having a third installment in the Rayman Raving Rabbids series but you never know.
It might be a platform game where you get to play as Rayman, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm surprised of the amount of noobs who's posted here.. Of course we aren't whining about people loving and buying the Rabbids franchise. The problem is, that the original Raving Rabbids game was supposed to be the long-promised Rayman4 platformer by Michel Ancel. But somehow this changed when Ubisoft Montpelier (or whatever..) recieved the Wii-devkit from Nintendo, and saw great posibilities with it. Unfortunately, their target became the Rayman4 project, and they decided to rush it to a minigame collection instead of the long awaited platformer, just to get the job done in time for the Wii release, that was just months away.. And to make it worse, they 'marketed' the game as a Rayman sequel, by releasing it as multi-platform and completely chance their RaymanZone site and forums. They improved these points a little with Raving Rabbids 2, but really, releasing a Rabbids3 or not, they SHOULD split the Rayman and Rabbids franchises completely, aswell as considering developing or publishing a new Rayman platformer.

Even though I am a bigger fan of the Rabbids than Rayman, I actually am hoping for the next game to be a Rayman platformer, versus the Rabbids of course. I'm getting sick of these minigame sets, it's taking the Rabbids franchise nowhere and it's ruining Rayman's rep. I have no problem using Rayman as long as there's plenty of Rabbids content.

P.S. is it wrong to post more than once on here?
Posted by Fenn70, 2008-05-07 19:14:21
yay! i love the rabbids!!! more rabbids is always good. rayman himself should just be gotten rid of and the bunnies should have their own games. a dancing game with rabbids would be nice too.
Posted by silentfox626, 2008-05-10 01:06:57
So you mean theres going to be a Wii Fit Rabbids game? I hope you get to be the rabbids again, because i don't like using Rayman :(
Posted by SubbyZero, 2008-05-13 16:21:19
I just hope it's the rayman 4 we've all been waiting for, and the rabbids just happen to be in it, don't suppose thats gonna happen though. T_T
BTW This doesn't make ubisoft marketing hogs, just not very fan friendly.

"What if they were actually making a Rayman game and no more Rabbids, would you guys whimper like you say we're doing? "

Not really, to be fair I wasn't exactly sure how they were going to keep a possible third installment fresh. Now that I've seen the balance board video I'm content with a possible RR3, and will go back to doubting that there will never be another sequel upon its hypothetical release.

Am I a bit peeved that there isn't another Rayman platformer coming out? Yes, quite. But on the same token, considering the heaps of fun I've been having with the last two Rabbid games and the fact that Ancel is working on a possible BG&E sequel I can't really say that I'm all that miffed about it.

Yahooooooooo!!
A Rayman RR 3!
I wonder if this one will come out on DS or not...
Posted by orangelum, 2008-05-27 16:24:12
Yeah.
New Rabbid's Game.
...
...
What are you all whining about?

Rayman was a great franchise: whether he's brought back or not, Ubisoft is focusing on their latest franchise: Rabbids.

Remember the last time they focused on a franchise... ooh... what was that? Yes, RAYMAN!

The Rabbid's deserve their turn, and I love Ubisoft's marketing strategy.

I will certainly be buying this game.

And perhaps eating it, too.
Posted by joshy206, 2008-05-28 12:16:58
Rabbids had their turn already while we Rayman fans waited for Rayman 4 in 5 YEARS!

You guys waited for 1 YEAR AGO!
Posted by Kelvin10, 2008-05-28 21:30:08
I love rayman and the rabbids!! the next game should be that rayman and the rabbids combine and unite as allies!
Posted by wolskiDAAAH, 2008-05-29 00:37:58

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP, ubisoft how low have you fallen.
Posted by lostinblue, 2008-05-31 15:07:03
I am not a party guy, but I enjoy very much playing the game with my wife and son. RRR series of games are the best for family fun. I really look forward to RRR3.
Posted by SIP_TRT, 2008-06-06 00:14:06
... continuing

Ubisoft, please drop Rayman from RRR3; I am sorry to say he is completely unnecessary.
Posted by SIP_TRT, 2008-06-06 00:16:38
Hey Ubi, The Rabbids Are Awesome, But for TV Party, keep Rayman, but give him more costumes, in the first RRR there were about 4/5 costumes (I dont knoiw if I got em all), but on RRR2 I got 'em all (for Rayman) and they were only nine, while the rabbids had a lot more, pleasse put more Rayman costumes in TVP. And don't separate the series...
Posted by RRBandManager, 2008-06-07 21:49:29
I am sooooo getting this.
Posted by mikeerpelo, 2008-06-08 00:43:24
This is not going to be a platformer... Sorry. Either way, I'm still going to get this when it comes out!!!

Fantastic. Another Rabbids game, i love em! Lets face it, the Wii excels at party games. Ravin Rabbids has some AWESOME games for just having friends round and having a laugh. I for one am really looking foward to this.
